IEQL at IAC2018

(L to R) Ashleigh Bope, Sarah Haines and Marina Nieto, graduate research assistant in environmental engineering at University of Colorado, Boulder, visit St. Louis' iconic Gateway Arch.Ashleigh Bope and Sarah Haines, graduate student researchers from the Indoor Environmental Quality Laboratory, joined their colleagues and peers at the 10th International Aerosol Conference (IAC 2018) in St. Louis, Missouri. Conference participants attended a variety of plenary talks, symposia, poster sessions, platform presentations, and special events during the week of September 2-7, 2018.

Sarah Haines presented on her research, Application of the Time-of-Wetness Model to Fungal Growth in Carpet Dust during a session on Indoor Aerosols: Air Purification & Case Studies. Ashleigh Bope presented her research poster, Improving quantitative measurement of microbial DNA in house dust using digital PCR. For her efforts, Ashleigh was named one of the top poster presenters as voted on by conference participants.
